DON MERCKLE

You can be in the video for

"It's Alright The Way That You  Are"

“I wrote a song about being yourself in a world that wants to change you. In these uncertain and difficult times, I think it’s important that you and everyone knows that It’s Alright The Way That You Are. That’s right. You’re perfect. Just the way that you are. The things that make you different and unique are awesome! The world would be pretty boring if we all looked the same and thought the same way. And I think being yourself is something worth celebrating. So I hope you will help me by sharing your individuality on camera and being a part of the upcoming music video for my new song.” – Don

 Here's how it will work:

MAKE A SHORT VIDEO OF YOURSELF WE CAN USE IN THE "IT'S ALRIGHT THE WAY THAT YOU ARE" MUSIC VIDEO!

  • Extended Submission Deadline is Oct 24th!

  • Listen to the song at the link above and show us what it inspires in you.

  • You can record yourself doing anything that makes you feel like your authentic self. Do you have a secret talent like riding a unicycle, walking on your hands, or catching candy in your mouth from 10 feet away? We want to see it.

  • Do you have a hobby you love?  Do you knit? Are you a wizard at Origami? Do you collect garden gnomes? Maybe you’re a passionate mountain biker, or a runner? We want to see it.

  • Do you express your individuality through your clothes, your hair, your body art, or simply in the way you walk or laugh? We want to see it.

  • If there is something in the song’s lyrics that inspires you to do or create something, from painting to doing an interpretive dance… we want to see it.

  • You can hold up a sign with the lyrics that are meaningful to you on it.

  • You can hold up a sign with the song title “IT’S ALRIGHT THE WAY THAT YOU ARE” on it to remind other people that they are also perfect just the way that they are too.

  • You are welcome to do anything that you feel expresses who you, your individuality, or celebrates other people just the way that they are.
